Comments
Ladron Peak is a rift flank uplift on the western margin of the Rio Grande rift in the southern part of the Albuquerque basin. The uplift is bounded on the east by the normal low angle Jeter fault. The peak is cored by metamorphic supracrustal rocks and intrusive rocks. The western side of the peak is overlain by west dipping Paleozoic and Mesozoic rocks. There are no established trails to the summit and it is very rugged, so only experienced hikers should attempt to climb it.
